"Floating in the cosmos of forever are the dimensions.

Surrounding all the dimensions are Space and Time, feeding the life of the dimensions. Nobody knows if they are dimensions themselves, living things, the center of forever... nobody's ever gotten close enough to tell.

The world you dwell in, simply called Reality, a place of relative peace and prosperity, and the most active one as well.

The Mirror Realm, viewed whenever you gaze into a reflective surface. Though your twin may smile whenever you are feeling happy and looking into a mirror, know that they hate you for controlling their lives by your mere existance, and hope that you never meet.

The Clockwork World isn't actually clockwork any more. It runs on quantum physics now. This world runs off Reality's best technological advances- even it's citizens. Because of this, The Clockwork World enjoys Reality quite a lot- not that it would ever have anything to do with it.

Then... there are the dimensions I hail from, The Dream World, and it's younger sibling, The Nightmare Realm. They send out a... peculiar wavelength, causing the minds of Realityfolk to wander into one of the dimensions while they sleep and have adventures. The Dream World takes good care of these visitors, and gives them an amusing, if not fun time. The Nightmare Realm... well, you're from Reality. You know what they do. The Nightmare Realm, often abbreviated as TNR, and pronounced as "Tener", is constantly being pulled in by, and bouncing off it's older sister (Tedwa), fueling nightmare soldiers into The War.

Oh, I didn't mention The War? My apologies, I assume you already knew. Since the day they came about, the two sibling dimensions never got along with one another. Their morals, opinions and citizens were just too different. They managed to keep an uneasy peace for a while though, for the good of everyone floating in the forever... but it could never last. Everyone knew that.

Tener was smaller than Tedwa, but it's citizens quite a bit more powerful, and it orbited it's older sibling quite closely, and one day, while the monarchs of Tedwa were soaring over their beautiful kingdom, when I was just a young girl... Tener hit Tedwa. The two dimensions just collided for the first time, there in forever. The rush of the collision sprayed Tener beasts into our lovely kingdom, one of them striking down The Queen. They descended upon my fair village, where my father was the mayor and my hundreds of siblings making up the villagers and... I'm getting off track. Back to the main story.

The Widowed King of Tedwa declared war on Tener, and the two have been fighting ever since, sending new troops into each dimension every time the two collided. The rest of the dimensions avoided us like the plague ever since, except for Reality, which had no choice in the matter.

For a long time, the war continued, and in that time, your sun began to glow, your planet drank in the water of comets, your ancestors began to use their first tools, thus adding another sentient race to the construction of the Clockwork Re... Oh! You thought you were alone in Reality? Oho, you humans are ever so amusing.

Then... the unthinkable happened. Reality got caught in Tedwa's gravity, shooting through forever towards it. You may recall your dreams becoming more vivid, more easily remembered. But the worst was still to come. It's hilarious... we didn't even notice your approach until you hit us, but by then, the damage was done. You see... the dimensions aren't nice and round, like you seem to think. They have lots of little offshoots, like needles. That's how Nightmare's get into Tedwa- they enter through the needles that pierce Tedwa's skin. It takes a while for them to get dislodged.

Your dimension had to hit us at the worst time possible. Tener had been stuck to Tedwa for a while, and we were hoping that it was about to come off when... Reality hit us, right on the seam between us, causing interdimensional needle's to pierce your universe as well. We're stuck now. Nobody can figure out how to get the three dimension's to disconnect, not that Tener cares. It's just happy to destroy whatever get's in it's path.

So many Realityfolk were killed in The Great Clash as well... The Dream Dimensions and Reality were never meant to touch, so all but the strongest dreamers just... disappeared, making Tener's job even easier.

Speaking of Tener's job, do you recall what I said earlier about your race not being the only one? I suppose I lied a bit. Thanks to Tener, you may be the only one left. "

I have no idea what any of the Literature Categories are, aha. I just picked one at random. XD

You may be going "...Really. Another story." BUT THAT'S HOW I ROLL. Seriously, I'm going to do this A LOT. Get used to it. XD

Soooo, on request from my last deviation (*cough*~Lovelyparcel*cough*), I went into more detail on the story plot... now called "Bad Dream". I wrote it in roughly 30 minutes, so it's pretty terrible. XD If anyone wants to edit it, be my guest, lol. XD

Bad Dream, and it's plot, characters, etc (c) Me.
